Copenhagen, April 20th. 2002

Mr. President,

WE WILL NOT TAKE PART IN YOUR WAR!

By demonstrating in Copenhagen today we protest against your socalled "war on terror", which merely aggravates an already ominous international situation.
We urge you to abandon your war efforts now.
Stop this war!

As citizens of Denmark, we completely dissociate ourselves from what we perceive as a reckless campaign on part of your Government and its allies.
Hence we are continuing to oppose and resist any Danish military participation in, or any support for, your "war on terror" whether it be conducted in Yugoslavia, in Afghanistan, in Iraq or anywhere else, including by proxy in
the Israeli-occupied territories of Palestine.

To you and then also to our Prime Minister, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, it may
well be "intelligible and explicable, that Israel needs to defend herself against acts of terrorism", but for us Mr. Sharon´s war is absolutely unacceptable.

We are never going to accept your "crusade".
The brutal U.S. onslaught on Afghanistan and the following Israeli onslaught on the Palestinians all but too clearly demonstrate to the world where your "war on terror" might lead us, and that is not where we want to go.

Mr. President!

As citizens of Denmark we shall never take part in your "war on terror"!
